I just completed the Wwise 101 certification test but experienced multiple (what appeared to be) malfunctions. On three of the questions it asked me to reference an image of a layout and select a number from the multiple choice to indicate where a certain item/function could be found in the image. There weren't any numbers superimposed onto the image(s) to match up with the multiple choice options, so I ended up just choosing a random answer for these three and moving on. Also, at the end of the exam it showed 90% in a red circle, and underneath it stated that I did not pass... however under the status marker it said "Passed" in green lettering.

Has anyone else experienced this? And if not, is there a way that I can reach out to Audiokinetic? I could not find any sort of email or phone number to contact for situations like this.

We're aware of the issue and are currently working to fix it. Therefore, the lessons and online certifications are now under maintenance until this can be resolved. We are sorry for the inconvenience and will keep you posted on this Q&A topic.

Thank You, Olivier. Please keep me posted.
Hi, we can confirm that a few questions in the new version of the exam could not be answered correctly outside of luck. We've unpublished them.

We can also confirm that you passed the exam in spite of this issue. The visual mismatch you noticed in your exam result is no longer visible.

Thank you very much for bringing both of these issues to our attention.
Thank you very much for your assistance and quick resolution. Cheers!

I guess some years later they still have the same problems. I took the test today, I'm an educator with over 20 years of experience in higher education (University level), so I understand that if you write a test it has to be based on the manual. Well, a little over 30%  (not to say 40%) of the questions were not related to the manual, videos, or lesson materials, in other words not really related to Wwise 101 Course, the answers were actually in the "Help" section and not really on the Wwise 101 manual. You can't test people on things not covered under the manual, you can win a lawsuit for that. I got 3 questions repeated 3 times and honestly, I feel ripped off because even I talked to my trainer and he was baffled at the fact that the questions were not related to the course that was taught.

So Audiokinetic, you know how to contact me, do so before I escalate this to a higher level.

Hello Jose. Sorry to hear you're having problems with the Wwise-101 course.
The questions might be phrased differently, but all questions are certainly based on the associated manual, so you can even print it and you won't need anything else. That said if you encounter any questions that are not described well enough in the certification content, please let us know. I'll send you an email, otherwise, send us one back at education@audiokinetic.com.
