Connecting Wise to Perforce via VPN

Has anybody had any experience working with Wwise and Perforce over VPN?

The Perforce plug in seems to be having problems connecting when I open Wise. I can't find any documentation around this error:

Perforce command failed:

"TCP receive failed.

read:socket:WSAECONNRESET
