Wwise integration seems to have deleted my entire Unity project

I went to integrate Wwise with my Unity project to start working on the audio but the integration seems to have failed and now my entire project is gone. The original Unity project folder is completely empty and there is a "WwiseIntegrationTemp" folder that contains a bunch of empty folders. I didn't get any error message during integration, it just disappeared from the Wwise launcher. I'm really hoping someone can help me out.

Happened to me also. I only lost a couple hours of work, but still quite mad.
Would like to note that I chose the recommended install option (install to a copy of my project) and that deleted all of my files but kept the folders.
