Custom audio device plugin not installed

Hello, I created an audio device plugin, I dropped the .dll, .xml files in the Authoring\x64\Release\bin\plugins of my  wwise 2016.1.1.5823 installation.  For some reason I keep getting this message when I load the project:

Error/Fix
\Audio Devices\Default Work Unit\Dolby_Atmos uses the audio device plugin 'MySinkPlugin', which is not installed.

 

Can someone help understand why is this happening?  Thanks
