So I have what is a very strange problem.  If I run my game in the Unity editor, everything works perfectly.  When I build the game, on both Mac and Windows, the Audio uses an older version of the banks.  There are some changes that are RTPC changes added, and there are some events and sounds which are new.  As long as I'm playing the game in the editor, the new sounds play, and the parameters are correctly affecting the audio.  Only in the build suddenly the new events completely don't change, and the RTPC controls do nothing.

Is there something I'm missing to update the sounds for the build?  What could possibly be causing this?  The old banks don't even exist anymore, so I have no idea how this could even happen.

EDIT: Never mind!  It turns out this was the same problem people have with no sound in player.  Even though Wwise was, according to the project settings, exporting to the correct folder, I had to instead manually copy the files over from the wwise internal "generated sound banks" folder to Unity's StreamingAssets folder, and it seems to work now.
