Audio stops working when I do remote connection for Wwise Fundamentals Course

I am working through the Wwise Fundamentals modules and the audio is working completely fine in Wwise, but the moment I select the "connect to remote platform" button the audio ceases to work. There is also an error code in the profiler that says "Sound could not find path to an output device."

Anyone have any idea what's going on? I know I could just continue the modules and not worry about it, but I want to be prepared for this problem if it happens again!
