I'm learning Wwise and following the course on the Wwise website step by step. In Lesson 8, I encountered an issue where Cone Attenuation isn't working.
First, I enabled Position+Orientation for the Teleporter's 3D Spatialization. Originally, the Teleporter was in stereo, but after enabling Position+Orientation, the sound seemed to become mono. Then, I created Object_Attenuation in the Attenuation settings. I could draw the volume and low-pass filter curves in the Property section, and they worked as expected.
Next, I enabled Cone Use. When I adjusted Cone LPF to 50, I could hear the Teleporter's sound becoming muffled. Note that at this point, the listener's point in the Cone Preview was at the center of the circle, and I hadn't moved it yet. No matter where I moved the listener—whether at the center or the edge of the circle—the sound remained the same, with no changes in volume or filtering.
Can anyone tell me where the problem lies? I followed the official course instructions exactly, but I can't figure out what I might have missed.
