RTPCs in AudioLink in UE - is it possible to passRTPC updates passed to sounds that are already playing

Unlike native Wwise sounds I can't see RTPCs updating currently playing/looping sounds when they are audiolink input variants rather than native Wwise created sounds. With the latter, it seems to work.

In the profiler - with AudioLink it only fires with the current value at the time it starts and doesn't seem to receive updates.

Is this by design or can I work around this?
