I downloaded REV by Crankcase plugin for a personal non-commercial project, just for testing it out. I tried generating a soundbank and it said I need a license to use it. I also see online that there are license fees for the individual preset sounds within the plugin.
My question is: do I need a license to generate a soundbank that uses REV in general, or do I just need a license to use the presets that are available with the plugin? Can I record my own car engine, use REV with what I've recorded, and generate a soundbank with that? Or does the plugin itself along with the presets require a license?

I'm using UE5 and Wwise 2024.1, if that changes anything.
Thanks to anyone who may know :)

Looking at the docs and having never used REV, I think (and could be wrong) you might need separate licenses for each platform (as listed here: https://www.audiokinetic.com/en/wwise/plugins/crankcase-rev-plugin/) and individual presets, as in pay money per platform, and then also pay for presets? I'm not really sure but you definitely for sure need a license for each platform you're building on, it seems.
