Master bus -3db compared to audio asset

Testing Wwise output bus and it appears it is 3-db compared to the source asset.

I created a sine wave in wwise using tone generator, set to 0 db and the master bus outputs at -3db.

The sine wave is going direct to master bus.

Can;t find anything in documentaion and don;t know why this ay be a feature.

Please answer this audiokinetic. It has been posted before with no support and don't feel this qualifies for a $300 fee to get an answer.
