Hello Audiokinetic team! I'm experiencing a challenge while using Unity with Wwise, and I hope you can help me figure it out. Currently, I'm not entirely clear on the algorithm of the problem, but here's what's happening:
During pause and unpause, the audio inexplicably shifts to the left (in relation to Unity), causing the sound to play faster than the game. This effect becomes particularly noticeable with frequent pauses and unpauses. It seems that the offset occurs either due to Wwise handling pause strangely or Unity taking more time for "playback" during unpause.
Example:
To illustrate the issue, I have a cinematic with a separate audio track that starts along with a video with subtitles. However, with frequent pause and unpause actions, the sound begins to play before the subtitles, resulting in asynchrony in content playback.
Uncertainty:
I'm unclear on where to specifically pinpoint the problem – whether it's in Wwise or Unity. It's essential to determine why the audio is shifting left during pause and unpause and identify the necessary actions for resolution.
I would appreciate your assistance in identifying the cause of this problem and potential solutions. Thank you in advance for your attention!
