Launch Wwise option not accessible

Hi,

when I install Wwise on Windows, I can only see the Samples option but not the Launch Wwise option, can someone help me understand why?

PS: I dont know how to add an attachment

I know this is an older post, but I had the same problem, and a search led me here. Since no one responded, I thought I would post the answer in case anyone else has the same issue.

 

You have to be sure to check the "Authoring" package when installing Wwise. That is the UI application. Without it, there is nothing to launch, hence no "Launch Wwise" option.
