There is no sound coming from Cube game

There is no sound coming from Cube game, using a Mac and think it has something to do with the instructions for removing the sound banks folder in lesson one, please help? Sorry if similar questions have been asked, none of the solutions I’ve seen work on Mac OS. Are there only certain files that should be removed from the soundbanks folder rather than the entire folder?
