Wwise causing Unity Recorder to stop working, any solutions?

I have found that using Wwise with Unity stops the Unity recorder from working. It was a very easy to use tool for recording videos which were small in size and worked smoothly when imported into a DAW. Is there a workaround to this? If not, are there other solutions for easily recording a section of the screen and importing that into a DAW?
