My device does not show up in Remote Connections

Hi all.

I've been trying to start the Wwise-101 course today. I was getting through the first lesson and had no problems finding my device and connecting. Then I needed to connect a different project and it would just stall while I was trying to connect. I ended up removing my device from the history section thinking I could reload it and now it is just gone. I have tried redownloading Wwise several times and tried to connect to my IPv4 address but nothing is working.

Any suggestions on what I need to do? I really want to get through this course and get WWise under my belt.

I ran into the same issue and the workaround I found is
1. Run Cube
2. Open Terminal
3. enter lsof -i | grep CubeMac
4. It will show something like
     CubeMacPr xxx xxx ...... TCP *:53428 (LISTEN)
     The number 53428 may vary from time to time.
5. Go to wwise --> Connect to Remote Platform --> Connect To IP, and put
      127.0.0.1:53428
