Release Notes

The following sections list and describe the iOS/tvOS/visionOS specific changes to Wwise between version 2023.1.5 and version 2024.1. For general release notes, please refer to Release Notes 2024.1

New Features

  • WG-66884 Allow the control of the AVAudioSessionRouteSharingPolicy of Wwise's audio session via the audio session properties of AkPlatformInitSettings. This allows, among other things, the casting of Wwise audio to an AirPlay-compatible device.

Miscellaneous Changes

  • WG-43594 Migrated Integration Demo rendering to the SDL library for iOS, tvOS and macOS platforms.
