Release Notes - Wwise Unity Integration 2025.1.0

This release delivers the Wwise SDK update for Wwise 2025.1.0.

Compatibility:

  • Wwise SDK: 2025.1.0
  • Unity: The integration was tested with Unity 6000.0.45f1. The minimum supported version is Unity 2022.3 and the maximum supported version is Unity 6.0.
  • Tuanjie: The integration was tested with Tuanjie 1.4.4.

New Features

  • WG-67374 Replaced the Wwise Picker with the Wwise Browser. For more information, see Wwise Browser.

API Changes

  • WG-76920 AkMIDIEvent is now a member of AkMIDIPost instead of a parent class. The PostEvent methods on AkMIDIPost have been removed because they were unsafe. Use AkMIDIPostArray to post MIDI data to the sound engine.
