Wwise Unreal Integration Documentation
Release Notes 2024.1.7

Each version of this integration matches a specific build of Unreal Engine. This document lists the changes in the 2024.1.7 release of the integration.

Compatibility:

  • Wwise SDK: 2024.1.7
  • Unreal: This integration supports, and was compiled against, Unreal Engine versions 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6. It was tested against Unreal Engine 5.6.
Note:
This integration does not support experimental Unreal Engine features.

Bug Fixes

  • WG-79093 Fixed: AudioType Resources sometimes crash or freeze on exit.

Fixes for Community-Reported Bugs

  • WG-77138 Fixed: FAkAudioDevice::SpawnAkComponentAtLocation causes check failure when leaving all parameters set to default values and turning AutoPost On.
  • WG-77416 Fixed: Room tone is triggered more than once when Auto Post is set to true.
  • WG-77912 Fixed: SoundEngine unloading was done after its respective modules were unloaded, causing crashes in callbacks and streaming.
  • WG-77946 Fixed: Possible crash caused by using TQueue for ExecutionQueue and DeferredQueue.
  • WG-78708 Fixed: Performance issue when using Wwise Asset Library in Unreal due to complexity in FWwiseAssetLibraryProcessor::FilterLibraryAssets.
