This year, VR was a big topic and was well represented both at the Expo and throughout the speaker sessions. The Develop Awards took place on the 2nd day and represented a great opportunity for the industry to celebrate its successes. Recognizing top of class performance in 21 categories within the games development business, the prestigious peer-voted Develop Awards focused on creativity, teamwork, and innovation. Audiokinetic's Wwise was presented with the Develop Award for ‘Best Design and Creativity Tool’!

"We always look forward to the Develop Awards as this event gathers the most talented and creative people in our industry. This year was very special however, as Audiokinetic received the award for 'Best Design and Creativity Tool'. It was a true pleasure to be distinguished amongst our great community of friends and partners, and we look forward to continue adding value and raising the bar for interactive audio."

Martin H. Klein, Audiokinetic President & CEO

A big thank you to our partners and friends, and of course to Develop and our incredible industry, for selecting us and reaffirming with this award category the importance of specialized tools within the overall game production pipeline.
